The new 12 inches MacBook is out and it's very slim, it measures 13.1mm thin and weighs 907g which is amazing. It is so thin that they had to remove the light from the logo. The keyboard is from edge to meaning there is no space at the sides, I don't dislike it though. It is so thin that the keys doesn't have that much travel which would not be a a big deal to me. Each key even has their own individual light and I applaud apple for that. Under the keys are not like other keyboards, it is set up like a butterfly wing, that's what they called it; you would have to see it or picture a butterfly wing if you don't quite understand (click here to to see a video of the butterfly wing keyboard) .
Like other track pads, this one is very different. Under other track pads you would have a button for it to click when you want to bring up options or to select something, well, this one doesn't have any button under, instead they have this new thing called forced touch track pad. That means when you attempt to click, a motor will vibrates for it to feel like a click. Even when you press down harder, it vibrants harder for you to really fee it and fast forward when watching a video. You can also adjust it to your liking. I just think that is amazing to know that a track pad without a button under. On the left side is one USB type C port which is new and one the right is the headphone jack. With the new USB type C port, it allows for faster data transfer which is good but, you only have just one single port that is going to be used for everything. Even though it's one single port, you'll probably be worrying about how are you going to do multiple things with it, well, there are cables out there that will help you with that but, you will be walking around with tons of cables that can be overwhelming which is not really so easy. It comes in three colors: gold, silver and space grey. That's good because you don't only get one color option like the rest. I think this laptop is not for people who are going to use it for heavy usage editing HD videos and doing hard core things like that, I think it's for the ones who will watch videos, take notes, browsing the internet or just want to show off that they have a very thin laptop, stuffs like that.
