The Galaxy Tab 47.0 is a small device made by Samsung and to be more adorable. The design is much like most Samsung devices, made of plastic. The back cover is removable and made of plastic but it gives a fake leathery look and feel for a better grip with the hands. Despite the plastic built of the Tab, it has a chrome bezel around the device with the same button layouout as the Galaxy S5. Right now it's's going for $189 (USD) off eBay brand new.
On the front there is a 7.0 inch display with a resolution of 1280×800. Pixels are noticeable if you look closely because it's a not super high resolution so pixels are noticeable, but it’s not a bad display. Color reproduction is good and it gets bright so it has nice viewing angles. Inside of this device is being powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 8 gigs (GB), it does give you the advantage to expand the memory and I would suggest to use a micro SD card because this thing will run out of memory quickly. Specs are at a medium range so don't expect a lot out of it, it's not that smooth but it can get the job done.
With the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. The Touchwiz version on the Galaxy Tab 4 line up is much more tone down. Features found on the high end Samsung devices offers like: My Magazine and Air Gestures are not included, but you'll get the more useful features such as: multiwindow, palm swipe, and smart stay remain intact.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is available in the black and white models. It is WiFi only right now but 3G/LTE variants will be coming to carriers later in the year.
The Galaxy Tab 47.0 gives you a front camera with 1.3 megapixel and a rear 3.15 megapixel fixed focus camera so photos are low resolution. It will take good photos in a very well light area, but once there is low light, you won't get good quality pictures. A good thing about this Tab is its 4000 mAh battery inside, with normal usage, you'll get over one day.
