Go to Google Now app settings (make sure Google Now is turned on)>>voice >>audio history (turn it on), then tap on "Ok Google" detection and tick all three options.
Step 1. Go to the Google Now app and tap settings
Step 2. Make sure you turn on Google Now, then go to voice
Step 3. After you tap on voice, turn on Audio history then go to "Ok Google" Detection.
Step 4. Tick all three options
Step 5. When you tick everything when you tick the "from any screen" options, you will have to say the "Ok Google" hot word three times for it to recognize your voice.
Your device has to be charging to use the "Ok Google" hot word when it is locked/ docked.
